same plan like last, we drove up to der destination early in der morning 5.30am through MRR2 highway. upon reaching der place, i was a little bit confused with where is der starting point, we managed to find der place also. it rained yesterday so i thought it would be a nightmare for us.
as we planned earlier, we decided to run with a comfortable pace, der most important things is to enjoy der trail, der environment, der air, making friends with others. as i could see during der event, there was an increasing in number of participants this year and der prizes would be only top 5 position as compared to last year top 10, since we were not get into der mind of top position so juz enjoy.

i and chen kwok started with a slow pace, der route was muddy and slippery, it was very dangerous as we did not wear any trail shoe, in fact i dun have 1, but we would still carry on. der road running was hilly, many ups and downs ofcoz like last year. i liked der uphills very much as it was challenging and long.
going through der hill, certainly became more suffer, at der beginning, we were quite suffer bcoz very slippery, lost of balance all der time made me so frustrated and tired. due to lost of balance, i felt tired easily, next time must get a right shoes for this kind of trail to avoid any injury, at least a cheaper one lar. with a pair of hand glove, i felt my hands were protected, scars certainly lesser. however my feet have few scars which are unavoidable sometimes. we had to wait for others to climb up certain areas, thus a long queue was there, so wasted a lot of time there. when we saw der stairs ahead, i was very glad bcoz it indicated der end of der trail had came.
finally arrived at der last water station, i almost exhausted already so i drank 4 cups of water before continue back to hydrate my self back. i was not in der running anymore, i felt very tired and exhausted. no point if both of us did not want to continue running anymore, juz enjoy only and slowly walked up der hills. and finally came to der obstacles which i liked der most. jumped into der dirty 'swimming pool', in fact very smelly, hehe..
overall, we enjoyed der sufferness very much! no doubt it was a great event, well organised with good helpful mashalls! fantastic foods! and blar blar blar... we were in der 51st position with 2'29'50, nearly 2 hours and 30 minutes. although slower than last year but it was okay, save more energy.
